A Monthly Readers' & Writer' Social
When & Where
Words and Wine is held the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Lourie Center, 1650 Park Circle, Columbia, SC 29201. There is plenty of parking. Open to the public. $5 donation.
The Lourie Center’s mission is to provide opportunities for adults to remain physically fit, socially engaged, intellectually stimulated, and independent. It is a non-profit 501c3 organization.

Purpose
The purpose of Words & Wine is to provide a venue for a featured author to hold a book signing and readers to meet them, purchase their books, and personally have their book(s) signed.
Entertainment
There is a featured author each month who gives a 30 minute presentation. A Q&A is held at the end of the presentation, then a book signing.

The Lunch Bunch is a group with the goal to support a local restaurant each month, make new friends, and expand current friendships. The members believe our local restaurants in the Midlands need extra support and as the public, we are their best advertising resource.
